About our organization:

The West Virginia Section of American Water Works Association is an affiliate of the national American Water Works Association. The state organization received its charter from the Association in the 1920’s. There are currently over 260 members in the state. Our membership is comprised of operators, engineers, regulatory agency personnel, equipment suppliers, and managers of water treatment works facilities. The major function of the Association is to assist and educate our membership in matters related to the water industry by sponsoring classes throughout the state and by helping our members in all areas of the operations of their facilities.

2009 Conference Info

The 2009 Annual Conference is scheduled for May 17-20, 2009 at The Resort at Glade Springs. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. Pre-registration packets were sent out in February.
